"A Space of Resignation" will display a cross section of the discordance utilized by Brett Davis, Jamie Adams, and Robert Katkowski in their respective images. These three artists employ an ambiguity of specific elements in paint. The results vary from lulling introspection to quiet malevolence. It is work that calls for the viewer to resign himself to the strange and palpable space, the uncertain surface, and the inchoate relationships between figures.

An opening reception is scheduled on May 2nd from 7 to 10pm at Modern Formations as part of the Penn Avenue First Friday "Unblurred" event. Exhibit runs to the 30th.
